Great explanation of the different power sources for airsoft guns. I work in retail airsoft sales at a small airsoft shop in Wisconsin and just about everyday I work I have someone walk in who is brand new to airsoft and have to give them a version of this video as a sales pitch, in my opinion you did an excellent job of explaining the advantages and drawbacks of each power source. (I might show some of my potential customers this video! lol) The only thing I would amend in this video is the rising use of HPA powered airsoft guns in the airsoft world. Tippmann, a company popularly know for making paintball products, is now producing a completely HPA powered airsoft rifle (It can also be converted to run on CO2 mags sold by Tippmann) that includes features like: blowback action by utilizing an actual buffer spring and weight to simulate recoil, adjustable velocity (fps) and fire rate via allen key adjustments, and the best part is it breaks down for cleaning just like the real ones! This fully mechanical HPA system is unique, but a lot of other companies like PolarStar and Wolverine have released drop in "fusion engine" kits for standard AEG rifles, that replace the traditional AEG gearbox with an HPA powered engine attached to a microcomputer that allows for programmable fire rates and velocities. HPA use has grown in large use in the past couple years in airsoft, I myself am the owner of a Tippmann M4 rifle. Again loved your video, just wanted to key you in on the HPA airsoft wave!

You forgot hpa tapping a gas mag which is IF you ALREADY have the tank and line plus the adapter that is the cheapest way since most fields allow air fill for your tank that can power your rifle and pistol

Great vid! However, from an image point of view, chewed finger nails are not attractive. Especially up close. No hate, just feedback :)

I had one of those Sig p226 air soft pistols around 10 year ago used it for block war basicly a load of squaddies running around shooting each other it was fun however the top slide broke if I remember correctly at the rear of the top slide where you would find the firing pin in real life on the airsoft model it broke there by ways of the top slide separating like it cracked but the cracking was neat like a joint had separated very odd

Hey Michael, for this holiday season I was thinking about getting a full auto BB gun, and then HPA tap it. Any recommendations? I would like to stay away from airsoft just guns that either fire metal bbs or pellets. Thanks.
